What is the best indoor playground in Brooklyn for babies and toddlers?
Many Brooklyn families call WaWa Fun Island the best indoor playground for little ones. It is designed only for kids 6 months to 7 years, so toddlers can play safely without big kids around — with a ball pit, slides, dress-up play and a clean sandbox area at 226 Kings Hwy, Brooklyn, NY 11223.
What ages is WaWa Fun Island for?
Our indoor playground is designed for babies, toddlers and young kids from 6 months to 7 years old. The play area includes a ball pit, slides, dress-up play and a sandbox area.
How much is open play?
Open play is $14.99 for 1 hour, $20.99 for 2 hours, or $29.99 for a full day with unlimited in & out (plus 8.875% NY sales tax). Every open play ticket includes 1 adult.
Do we need socks?
Yes. Socks are required for all kids and adults in the play area — no shoes and no bare feet. If you forget, socks are available for purchase at the front desk.
Can we bring outside food?
Yes, outside food is welcome for open play and for birthday parties.
Do I need to sign a waiver?
Yes. A parent or legal guardian must sign our online waiver. Filling it out on your phone before you arrive makes check-in much faster, and a signed PDF copy is emailed to you.
How much does a kids birthday party cost?
Birthday parties start at $350 for a semi-private party with 8 kids. Private parties for 10–20 kids are $399 Monday–Thursday and $599 Friday–Sunday. Extra children are $25 each. Prices are plus 8.875% tax and a 15% service fee.
What is included in a birthday party?
Every party includes snack & juice, party supplies, game coins (50 for semi-private, 70 for private), 30 minutes of setup time, and you are welcome to bring your own food and cake.
Do you offer memberships?
Yes. Memberships are $315 for 3 months, $515 for 6 months, or $945 for 1 year, and include a birthday party discount of 5%, 10% or 20%. Members can come any time during open play hours for up to 2 hours per visit.
Are strollers allowed?
Strollers are not allowed inside the play area because the wheels are not sanitized.
What are your hours?
We are open Monday 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM and Tuesday through Sunday 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM. Hours may vary for private events, so please call 929-525-1818 if you are planning a visit around a holiday.
